How a vehicle import runs
The procedure is the same whether you are importing one vehicle or several.
You send the vehicle details
Make and model, year, engine type and capacity, purchase price and the country of origin. That is what we base the calculation on.
You receive a cost estimate
Before anything is set in motion you know roughly what the procedure will cost: transport, duties and our fee, itemised separately.
We arrange collection and transport
We collect the vehicle at the seller and arrange transport to a customs terminal in Serbia.
We prepare the documentation
Documents are checked and completed while the vehicle is still in transit, so no time is lost waiting for paperwork at the terminal.
We carry out the customs procedure
We lodge the declaration and represent you before the Serbian customs authority as your authorised representative.
You collect the cleared vehicle
You receive the vehicle together with the documentation required for homologation and registration in Serbia.
Documentation
What we need from you
The exact list depends on whether the importer is a company or a private individual, and on the country of origin. In most cases we need:
- Invoice or purchase contract for the vehicle
- Vehicle registration document from the country of origin
- Proof of payment
- Vehicle details: VIN, year, engine
- Buyer's personal details, or company details
- Transport documents, if you arranged transport yourself

Costs
What makes up the price
The total cost of importing a vehicle is not a single figure. It is made up of several parts, and we always show them separately:
- The purchase price of the vehicle
- Transport to Serbia
- Customs duties and taxes under the applicable regulations
- Terminal and customs procedure charges
- Our forwarding fee
Duties depend on the vehicle type, engine, age and country of origin, and the regulations change from time to time. That is why we do not quote flat figures, but calculate for the specific vehicle instead.
